Black plaited cord, packaged in a black velvet bag.

Kahurangi after the clearness of the sky, this is a type of pounamu that is highly translucent and flawless. Its colours are a rich vibrant apple green. In early times it was the most highly prized of all pounamu. It was used to make Toki Poutangata (Ceremonial adze) which were usually given to Rangatira (Chief).
